Hasba is pleased to announce the launch of our new Cyber Security Technical Committee. This new Committee was designed to bring together a group of Cyber-Security Experts and Leading Cyber-Security Specialists in the develop of a committee to work on developing legislation toward the protection of Canadian’s and their citizens and residences from the harmful effects of cyber-attacks, cyber-bullying, cyber-stalking, and cyber-terrorism.
 
The HASBA initiative is to work with other NGO's, corporations and government agencies and subject-matter experts to develop and create new legislation in Canada, preventing future intrusions and criminal activity through various forms of cyber-attackers and attack methodology.

 

HASBA is now working with Canadian agencies to develop legislation that will in time create a comprehensive national database to identify cyber-attackers and internet abusers that is aimed in protecting Canadian citizens and employers alike, which would be policed and monitored by a court-appointed organization.  

HASBA has hired a Toronto-based legal firm to handle our lobbying is now working with Lobbyists, law enforcement agencies in Canada and in the United States, as well as with other regulatory bodies, including private citizens, parents and governing bodies to develop a system that will be designed to protect all viewers from future internet abusers and from Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome (PTSD).

 

Through our national directives, we will work together to prevent future cyber-terrorism and potential on-line criminal activity like cyber-bullying against children and adults, building awareness and prevention of cyber-attacks from happening against Canadian citizens, SME's and corporations.
